Are you getting married this year? You still have time enough for this little addition to your bridal preparations boudouir surefire to give you the most ah-mazing wedding prep images!

Your soulmate dropped down on the knee and proposed! That gorgeous bling has now become your most permanent and beloved accessory, never leaving your finger! You did ALL the homework in the world, researched for the perfect photographer and wedding planner, set everything in motion, planned for the most stunning florals, and bought not one but hey! Two wedding dresses! And JUST LIKE THAT … the day arrived. You’re getting wed!

Bridal preps are on! And while you’re still in curlers, you spot your wedding photographer grabbing your dresses and hanging them … on a tree…I’m terribly sorry but there’s that screetch that kills your wedding music!

Having a super-soft spot for fashion I’m feeling you! Chances are you’ve spent a fortune on your dream designer attire, and (I promise you this) you will hate every picture of it hanging someplace random, mid-air like some ghostly apparition.

Honestly wedding photography industry, what were you thinking when this crazy notion appeared? I’m perfectly okay with a an all time chic and sleek golden rake the sorts you find at The Four Seasons Athens, The Grand Bretagne, and Poseidonion Grand Hotel… but if your preparation suite does not come equipped with the perfect dress-hanging option… then what are you to see? A door (really any kind) with your dress on?

That is why I decided to write this journal post for you! You see, a couple of days ago I’ve had the opportunity to be part of a magical bridal prep, where the bride was smart enough to have a sewing mannequin in her boudouir! Oh WOW YES!

Finally, the dress was not thrown on the bed, nor on the elegant button stool, definitely not hanging from a solitary hanger lifelessly waiting… It was ON ! Looking pristine, gorgeous, sophisticated, plush, and completely unwrinkled, just like the designer (Maria Konidi) meant it to be, before the bride slipped in.

What I loved about the idea was that it is soooo easy! Only thing you have to do is ask from your wedding planner to provide you this extra service (Michaela from Make My Dream Events went beyond). You can make one to order if you choose, but awesomely enough you can rent one for a very minimal fee.

Not only will this give you spectacular pictures of your wedding gown, or the second wedding dress you choose, but will also fill the entire space with something right out of an atelier! It will also make your posing with your dress(es) so much easier, as you can wrap your arms around it, be playful, or simply indulge in the beauty!

Cherry (well, orchid) on top? Your wedding florist can add a gorgeous floral arrangement near it, and I can help you style your bridesmaid gifts and shoes around it! Magical? I think it is pretty cool! No fuss, no wrinkles, as you deserve!
